Oftentimes, parents become very busy with work that they cannot always take of their children. Most of the time, parents leave children with their gadgets and toys rather than physically playing with them, especially that nowadays, parents have to work extra hard to provide for their children, they cannot always check for the safety of their kids.
Unfortunately, these things are very harmful to our children. The radiation from the gadgets and the harmful components that our children can take in from the toys are very risky for their health. But since we cannot be there by their side all the time, we miss the chances to teach our kids the right things.
A Facebook post of a mother has recently went viral on social media. She shared what has happened to her daughter. One night, she noticed that her daughter’s eyes were swelling and she kept on sniffing. She though the girl was having allergies and made her take antihistamine. But the whole night the little girl hardly ever slept.
The next day she found a black liquid substance flowing out of her daughter’s nose, she said it didn’t smell like blood but soil. So when she asked why it happened the daughter answered it was because she fell down.
She cleaned up her daughter’s nose but she was crying of pain, she then decided to take her to the hospital and the ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) specialist said she needed to see if there was any foreign object that my daughter has put inside her nose.
And they were really surprised when it was discovered that there were batteries inside her nose. That was when she remembered about the headband they bought, the battery got removed from it and because children are very curious she must have put the battery inside her nose.
Thankfully, she was immediately brought to the hospital since the battery was actually already burning, the reason why there was a black liquid substance flowing out of her nose, and if she wasn’t rushed her could’ve been burnt.
At the end of the post, she advised everyone to always check the kind of toys they give to their kids especially if they are below 5 years old. Kids are curious by nature and such curiousity could be very risky to them. Also, she said that if we could check up on our kids from time to time, we should. Since our kids need our time and attention too, it is better if we spend most of our time with them.
